Williams Scholar Academy (WSA) is a public school and is open to all students eligible for enrollment in Louisiana. WSA will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, creed, ethnicity, sex, mental or physical disability, age, ancestry, athletic performance, special need, proficiency in the English language or in a foreign language, or academic achievement in admitting students. We welcome a student body that reflects the multicultural vibrance of all people of Vermilion Parish and other parts of Acadiana and the world.
WSA enjoys only a limited number of students by virtue of our charter. As such, should we receive more official applications than available seats for students, we will hold a public lottery for random selection of initial applicants according to state and local laws. Other applicants will be put on a wait list. Once your child is an accepted student who attends WSA, he/she will not be subject to lotteries as long as the student is in continued attendance.
